Dohyung was awarded the KSEA Young Investigator Award, designed to recognize individuals who have demonstrated outstanding early career development in science, engineering, and/or technology, and the highest recognition for young professionals by the Korean-American Scientists and Engineers Association (KSEA).
Dohyung organized the Catalysis at Solid Liquid Interfaces symposium at the ACS Fall 2024, with other co-chairs Joaquin Resasco (UT Austin), Ian McCrum (Clarkson), and Jason Bates (University of Virginia). A great success and thanks to all the speakers and participants!

Dohyung was awarded the Unilever Award for Outstanding Young Investigator in Colloid & Surfactant Science from the Division of Colloid and Surface Chemistry of the American Chemical Society for his pioneering contributions to understanding the intricate dynamics of nanoparticle surfaces and interfaces in electrochemical environments and its profound influence on reactions of renewable carbons. He gave an award talk at the 98th ACS Colloid and Surface Science Symposium held at the University of Washington.
